Recycled Concrete & C&D Waste.

Recycled concrete, brick, asphalt, and mixed demolition waste reduction. Continuous-programme experience with operators measured in years, not months.

What we crush

Reinforced concrete (with contaminant separation), brick, asphalt millings, and mixed C&D demolition waste. Materials processed for civil reuse as recycled aggregate, sub-base, and fill applications, replacing virgin extraction where spec allows.

How we crush it

Scalping ahead of primary removes contaminants and fines. Heavy-duty primary jaw reduces bulk material. Secondary cone produces spec-compliant fractions. Multi-deck screens separate output by size for downstream civil use. Steel and contaminant removal integrated into the flow.

Operating mode

This is where continuous contract crushing fits best. Our longest engagement runs continuously across 7+ years on a recycled materials operation, with dedicated plant, structured maintenance, and integrated reporting into the client's production system.

Typical output fractions

/ Confirmed per client spec at scoping

  • Recycled concrete aggregate (RCA)
  • Crushed brick fines and aggregate
  • Asphalt millings reuse
  • Mixed C&D recycled fill
Service line

Best run as: Contract Crushing.

Continuous crushing supply for clients running sustained production programmes. Modern fleet, structured maintenance, dedicated crews. Built for partnerships measured in years, not weeks.

/ FAQ

Recycled Concrete & C&D Waste questions.

How long has Rostrevor been doing recycled materials crushing?

Our longest current engagement is a 7+ year continuous recycled materials crushing programme in Victoria. Reliable production continuity across multiple plant generations and crew rotations.

Does Rostrevor handle contaminant separation in C&D waste?

Yes. Scalping ahead of primary crushing removes contaminants and fines. Steel and unwanted material extraction is integrated into the processing flow.

Can recycled concrete output meet civil spec?

Yes. Recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) is processed to client-specified fractions and tested per spec. Used in sub-base, fill, and (where spec allows) as recycled aggregate in new concrete.
